Wedding Cruise!!!!!!!
October 27th is finally here and we got married!!!!!!! This was a crazy, yet oh so fun day. Ken and I are still amazed at how over the course of so many events and days everything went so perfectly!!! We got married aboard the Carnival Elation by Bishop Christopher Beesley from my home ward. The wedding was short and perfect. Dylen and Max did an awesome job with their little parts and we were so happy to share this event with so many wonderful family members and close friends. It really means a lot to us; all of the sacrifices that went into being with us for all of these events!!!!!! The reception after the wedding was beautiful! The day just flew by, after everyone left the photographer took Ken and I around the ship and took some amazing pictures!!!!!! I was so excited at how well they came out! The cruise was amazing! We had never been on a cruise before, and are totally sold on how great they are! Ken and I were in an amazing suite and had so much fun sharing this experience with the 34 people that sailed with us! We even had group shirts which made for a fun picture! We were the only wedding on board, so everywhere we went people were congratulating us. We spent a day in Cabo San Lucas and it was gorgeous! We went on a glass bottom boat that took us out to Lover's Beach where we snorkeled and enjoyed the amazing weather and warm water temperature! Seriously everything was picture perfect! There are way too many details to go into, but overall we had the most amazing time ever and want to thank everyone that shared this experience with us!!!!!!
This was our first date, we went to Shout House downtown for a friend of mine's birthday. Our stories differ a bit as to how we started, I still claim it was a "pseduo date" so it doesn't count that I invited Ken to come with me, but he clings to the "she asked me out" story. All in all no matter how it started things have turned out pretty good for both of us...
In the beginning...
Fishing is a big thing for Ken, so something I have needed to learn. I can't say I'm great, but I did catch a fish during our first trip out on Mission Bay.
Ken caught a fish too, he actually caught his first and helped me out quite a bit so I could catch mine. I did bait my own hooks though and I even got to drive the skiff!
Birthday's are great!
Ken took me to a nice romantic dinner for my birthday at George's on the roof in La Jolla. It over looked the cove and was gorgeous; not to mention the food was AMAZING!
The other love of my life
This is my dog Bandido. He is a Yorkshire Terrier, about to turn 4 in March. He was a surprise gift from my Aunt Kim when I got home from South America. From the second I laid eyes on that tiny guy I was sold. He now weighs in at about 5 pounds and is full grown. He mostly lives at my parents house these days because of my crazy shedule. That in itself is an ongoing battle, we have agreed to joint custody/ownership because they love him as much or more than I do. He has life made!
SpongeKen Squarepants
You don't have to be a kid to love this Bikini Bottom dweller.
Fun times at SeaWorld
Being with me has its benefits;) That's Ken with a Macaroni penguin.
Yep, that's a walrus he's touching.
Kyle and Meghan (Ken's brother and sister-in-law) joined us for a fun filled day at SeaWorld. Here we're meeting a beulga whale.
Master's Graduation
I had the cutest date at the ceremony! Thanks for all of the support!
Gone country?
Don't you love the days when you know you can get away with anything? I do. Ken even went to a country dive bar with me and my roommates for a night of country dancing. Those of you that know him know this is SO not him, that's how you know it's love;)
